Our Vision

    We believe that we are called to know God and to make Him known.  We are to reach our city and surrounding communities with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in a culturally relevant and meaningful manner.

Below are seven expressions of our vision at Hands of Hope Ministries..

1.)  We strive to fulfill this by providing an atmosphere of genuine love for one another.  One where a person is accepted unconditionally, regardless of their race, social status, education or needs.

2.)  We strive to help people come to a place where they can discover the God of the Bible in a manner in which will transform their life.  We recognize that people are on a journey and many don't even believe in the Bible or God represented.  So we intentionally provide a non-judgmental environment that will allow them to come, taste and see that the Lord is good, and discover His reality.  Our desire is to present the truths in such a way that they will make a decision to receive Christ based on what they learn and experience with others.

3.)  We believe in community.  We believe that the best way to experience community and share the message of Christ and live out it's truths is through cell-groups that meet in homes throughout our surrounding area.

4.)  We believe every person was created for a purpose.  We are committed to every person discovering Christ, so they might be filled with the Holy Spirit and discover His purpose for their life.

5.)  We believe that every person is a "10" in some talent or area.  Every believer has gifts and talents to be used by Christ to win pre-Christians.  We are committed to help each person discover their gifts and talents so they live as a "10".

6.)  We believe every believer is to be actively involved and participate in worship and in corporate celebrations.

7.)  We believe that the church should be reproducing.  Multiplying ourselves through cell groups, through discipling others to reach their pre-Christian friends, and planting new church groups in other cities.
