We have a number of
cell groups that are from 4-15 people each that meet in various homes both
in the City of Binghamton and other areas of Broome County. We believe
the cell is the key to personal growth in Christ as well as expansion to
meet the needs of our community.

Our goal is for cell groups to become the basis for every ministry in the
church.
- If there is a need of a church member or his
family member, it is the cell group that responds to that need.
- That all teaching and any "Big Church"
(Celebration) programming be linked in order to equip or enhance our
"Small Church" (Cell) goals.
- Much of the day to day counseling is done
by cell leaders. Only when serious concerns arise does a staff
pastor do counseling.
- Serving the communion meal would primarily
be served in cell, given by the cell pastor. Cell pastors would also
baptize their new converts.
- Get everyone communicating the larger
vision of the whole church within the cell.
- Every cell to be involved in servant
outreach ministries to the unchurched to build bridges into the community.
- Acts 5:42, All business of the early
church, spiritual or otherwise was taken care of in these meetings. Paul's
letters were read not only in the temple, but also in the homes where the
Church met.
Our goal for each individual is to be
actively in the cell life of the Church.
- To communicate to each believer a strong
sense of urgency for those who don't yet know Christ.
- That every person in the Body understand
that they have a purpose. Their purpose is to lead others to Jesus
Christ. They will never be fulfilled unless they are living out of
their purpose. Since there is no promise of tomorrow, there is an
urgency to fulfill my purpose today.
- Help each person discover their spiritual
gifts and talents in the cell environment to fulfill that purpose.
- Train and retrain to equip the masses.
Every person is seen as a potential leader.
Our goal is multiplication.
- That every cell multiply every 8 to 12
months.
- To be a Church without walls. Not
dependant on facilities, but on our cells, or relationships.
- That the church reach the masses. We
are called to reach the thousands as seen in the New Testament.
- To become so important to our community
that if we ceased to exist tomorrow we would be sorely missed.
